The crisis barometer

What history shows
Every day since 1955: where the S&P 500 stood against its 5-year high, and what a purchase made that day earned over the next 5 years.
What it means
The reserve plan
In your client area, you write down in advance, in a calm moment, what you will add at each level: for example a third of your reserve at −20%, −30% and −40%. When a level is reached, you get a reminder of your own rule by email and on Telegram. Nothing is bought automatically: the decision stays yours.
Where does added money go?
- Added to the robot's account, it follows the engines' rules. During a deep fall, the Growth Engine often waits in Treasury bills: it only returns to the market when the trend recovers, not at the bottom.
- The Guardian has its own crisis ladder, on the world index: at each level it buys 10% of its sleeve and keeps it.
- In our tests (1993-2026), selling at the return of the high what had been bought during the crisis was the worst of all plans.
